Hazelnut Affogato

A sublime and sophisticated dessert cocktail that marries the rich, bitter intensity of freshly pulled espresso with the sweet, nutty warmth of hazelnut liqueur. Served over a cloud of vanilla ice cream, it is a truly decadent finale to any evening.

Glass:
Chilled Coupe or Rocks Glass

Ingredients:

  • 1 large scoop of premium Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 30 ml (1 oz) freshly brewed Espresso, hot

  • 15 ml (0.5 oz) Hazelnut Liqueur

  • A few Roasted Coffee Beans, for garnish

Method:

  1. Place a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream into the chilled glass.

  2. Gently pour the hazelnut liqueur over the ice cream.

  3. Slowly follow with the hot, freshly brewed espresso, allowing it to cascade over the frozen cream.

  4. For a final touch, artfully sprinkle a few roasted coffee beans on top.
