A sophisticated after-dinner cocktail that captures the essence of a classic Italian pastry in a glass. The rich, nutty sweetness of Amaretto is elevated by the depth of aged brandy, balanced with the complex herbal notes of amaro and a bright kiss of orange. Perfect for sipping slowly and savoring.


Glass: Coupe

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml (1 oz) Amaretto

  • 45 ml (1.5 oz) Brandy (such as St Agnes VSOP)

  • 15 ml (0.5 oz) Amaro (such as Autonomy Distillers Amaro)

  • 8 drops Orange Bitters

Method:

  1. Fill a mixing glass with fresh ice.

  2. Add all the ingredients: Amaretto, brandy, amaro, and orange bitters.

  3. Stir gently and deliberately for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.

  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.

  5. Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink, then garnish by placing the twist in the glass.
